Private land

Last updated November 1, 2026

With Basic or Pro, Half Light shows property lines, the owner's name and acres on the map, so you know whose land you're looking at and who to ask. Turn on Private land under Layers, zoom in, and tap a parcel.

It's in some states, not all yet. We use the parcel records a state publishes for the whole state, and only where its terms let an app like ours show them. Where we don't have a state yet, the layer is empty.
